We are starting to feel rather settled in Sevenoaks having finally moved in during December 2001. The following thumbnails show pictures of the new property from the front and from the back. Click on the thumbnail for an enlargement.
For anyone driving up from Bristol, it will take about the same amount of driving time, even though it is a bit further. It's just as easy to travel to Central London as it is from Croydon. And the area is much, much nicer - semi-rural even! Oh, and the schools (apparently) are good! The Refurbishment...Work commenced in earnest at the start of September '01. The only hiccup we have had so far, was when the drainage crew accidentally spiked a power cable. No-one was hurt, but it cut-off the electricity supply to the house next door. They were very understanding, but matters were not helped by the electricity company taking 12 hours to make the repair - for which they had to turn off the power to the whole street (at 10pm)!
