Grade IV

James at Claus' house (27 Aug 2000)I am hoping to take my grade IV with the Associated board in November. 
This is the syllabus:

Piece A J.S. Bach (1685-1750)
Menuet: French Suite No. 2 in C minor, BWV 813, fifth movement
Piece B Stephen Heller (1813-1888)
Study in D, No 12 from 25 Studies, Op. 47
Piece C Dmitri Kabalevsky (1904-1987)
'Sad Story', No. 6 from 30 pieces for Children, Op. 27
Scales Majors: B, B-, E-, A-, D-
Harmonic & melodic minors: C+, G+, C, F
Contrary motion: F & B- major, D and G melodic minor
Chromatic scales: starting from any black key
Arpeggios hands together: E, B, F major
hands separate: E-, A-, D- major; C+, G+, C, F minor
Broken Chords B- major, G minor (following both patterns shown in the syllabus)

  After passing grade IV, I'll be very happy to maintain progress of one grade per year!
